THE SEANAD IS debating the Protection of Life during Pregnancy Bill today as part of over a week of deliberations on the landmark legislation.

The bill passed the Dáil last week but senators will seek to amend it – forcing its return to the Dáil – over the next few days. Minister for Health James Reilly will be participating in and following proceedings closely.
