Biography
Derek Blighe is a construction worker by trade. He became leader of Ireland First in 2023. He is a far-right agitator who travels the country for anti-immigration rallies and posts online videos to encourage others to do the same.
Question time
What do you deem the most important issue for the European Union now and what would you like to see happen in that area?
Immigration from the 3rd world is to me the number one issue in Europe at the moment with many countries feeling the brunt of the EU's open border policy. I would like to see Europe's frontier borders tightened up and the Dublin iii regulation enforced.
What group will you be aligned with in the European Parliament, should you win a seat? What do you see as their priorities?
Why should someone vote for you?
I have been calling out the topics that have become election priorities for a long time, much longer than others that have only recently jumped on the bandwagon, People know that I will see my promises out to the end.
