Question time
What do you deem the most important issue for the European Union now and what would you like to see happen in that area?

The deep inequality in terms of resources, political influence and life chances. A more democratic Europe would ensure that resources are not controlled by a tiny elite who use them to reinforce their own power and influence.

More democracy would also mitigate against the growing militarism of the EU and would allow resources for the things that matter most to people like housing, public services and climate regulation on big business.

The EU is currently defined by a massive democratic deficit so I would like the citizens of Europe to have much more power and those in the elites to have much less.

What group will you be aligned with in the European Parliament, should you win a seat? What do you see as their priorities?

The Left

Why should someone vote for you?

People should vote for me if they want a representative that will:

1. Stand against racism, homophobia and all forms of discrimination.
2. Stand against militarism, defend neutrality and fight for justice in Palestine.
3. Fight for genuine climate action that targets big business not ordinary families.
4. Fight for workers rights and against the abuse of power by corporations and their billionaire owners.
5. Fight for public housing, decent social services and more equality in the economy.
