Biography

Walsh's priorities are housing, Irish Water and the HSE. He is also concerned about mental health and young people. He ran in the general election twice - in 2011 and 2016, and once in the by-election, but lost.

Question time
Why did you decide to run in this election?

The two main parties have let down the people in this country. They had €23 billion in the coffers this year and they only handed out crumbs.

What do you think is the greatest issue the country faces right now?

Housing is a massive issue and the cost of living is crippling people. This is the legacy the two main parties have left after 15 years of Fine Gael, ten of which were accompanied by Fianna Fáil.

What would you like your first speaking time in the Dáil to be about if you get elected?

Housing, the cost of living and the health crisis we face in this country. As a government we need to buckle down and get major issues dealt with and do the job we are elected to do.
