Question time
Why did you decide to run in this election?

For the past 6 years, I have listened to the people I’m proud to represent. It’s clear that, while Ireland is a great country, it simply isn’t working for many people. We need a strong, independent voice for Dublin South-West in Leinster House and I’m ready to be that voice, to advocate for practical, people-centred solutions for an Ireland that works for everyone.

What do you think is the greatest issue the country faces right now?

The greatest challenge for our country at present is a lack of basic dignity - dignity in terms of proper housing, access to public health and disability services, ensuring our young people can afford to live and work and use their skills here in Ireland.

What would you like your first speaking time in the Dáil to be about if you get elected?

My first speaking time in the Dáil, if elected, would be about the lack of disability and autism services which is an emergency that the Government has failed to acknowledge or respond to. We need a workforce plan for the recruitment and retention of staff in key areas immediately.
