Question time
Why did you decide to run in this election?

We must do everything in our means to address the climate crisis and to stop genocide. The current government parties don’t have the political will to make the changes so urgently needed. They have shown that they need to be pushed to make even small piecemeal improvements.

What do you think is the greatest issue the country faces right now?

Inequality and imposed austerity. Most people are really struggling with basic human needs: shelter, groceries, healthcare. While Ireland is one of the wealthiest countries in the world, because of successive government decisions, the richest people have so much and the majority of us are left competing for resources.

What would you like your first speaking time in the Dáil to be about if you get elected?

The climate crisis is the most pressing issue of this century and we cannot delay any longer. We must take action that improves the majority of people’s lives and ends the stripping of the world’s resources.
