Biography

Question time
Why did you decide to run in this election?

Cork South Central is a tough constituency to win a seat, some big political names here in previous elections and only 4 seats. In 2024 there are 5 seats with S. Coveney and M. McGrath off the list. I have been a Councillor for the past 10 years and as a result come with vast experience in public representation and know how. I would love to bring this experience to a National Level for Cork South Central.

What do you think is the greatest issue the country faces right now?

While there are many issues, the greatest issue right now and in the public's mind is Housing and the lack of it.

What would you like your first speaking time in the Dáil to be about if you get elected?

Once again there are many issues. However, I would speak about housing and the delivery of the same, to say we are going to build upwards of 1000 homes per week is a myth. It simply cannot be done and if I'm proven wrong, they will come at a huge cost which simply cannot be afforded. We need to think outside the box when it comes to building and the delivery of homes, different types, different builds and different offerings that suit all needs and pockets.
