Question time
Why did you decide to run in this election?
The breakdown of Irish Society, particularly in the urban areas, like Dublin. There is a lack of safe and secure private places like, having a home is a major issue. The city streets are not safe, our police force is not fit for the purpose. Our health services are not adequate. Our housing stock is a disaster and young people don’t have any voice.
What do you think is the greatest issue the country faces right now?
The political parties talk about the future as they want to avoid the present situation, which is uncertain. The country lacks proper infrastructure and the idea of a state construction company is laughable if you consider the cost of a bike shed. People feel abandoned . When our leader speaks, it’s hollow for the small island nation that has so much to offer. Something is rotten in the heart of the Republic. The Soul of the nation is full of uncertainty.
What would you like your first speaking time in the Dáil to be about if you get elected?
If elected, I would address the uncertainty and the cloud of unknowing.
