Two separate multi-vehicle crashes on N25 just 15 minutes apart

No serious injuries have been reported.

EMERGENCY SERVICES ARE dealing with two separate multi-vehicle crashes on the N25 this morning.

A five-car crash happened shortly after 7am, followed by a 3-6 vehicle crash around 15 minutes later on the same stretch of road.

No serious injuries have been reported.

The two collisions happened on the N25 Waterford/Cork westbound between J3 Tullagreen and J2 Little Island.

There are also reports of a third crash along this stretch.

Gardaí are at the scene and say the road is still open but traffic is restricted.

AA Roadwatch is reporting that traffic is heavy, with delays almost from the Midleton turnoff.

“It’s also extremely heavy on approach from Fota Island Park and on the Killahora Rd as motorists exit J3 and rejoin at J2.”
