Seven people arrested in connection with Shane Rossiter murder

Five men and two women were arrested in the Tipperary area today.

GARDAÍ INVESTIGATING THE murder of 30-year-old Shane Rossiter in Golden, Co Tipperary have arrested seven people.

Five men and two women aged from their early 20s to early 40s were arrested in the Tipperary area today.

They are currently detained in various Garda Stations in Co Tipperary under Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act 1939.

Rossiter was shot at a house in the Tipperary village of Golden at around 6.45am on 17 October 2012. He was brought to South Tipperary General Hospital in Clonmel, where he was later pronounced dead.

Investigations are continuing.
