Gardaí renew appeal for witnesses to death of cyclist in Dublin city

GARDAÍ IN DUBLIN have renewed their appeal for witnesses to a crash in Dublin which left a woman dead.

The female cyclist in her 30s died yesterday after she was hit by a truck on Seville Place around 10.55am yesterday.

Gardai say they are particularly interested in hearing from the drivers of a red Ford Fiesta or Focus, a dark coloured Toyota Prius Taxi and a grey coloured Toyota Avensis taxi that were stopped at the traffic lights on Seville Place/Sheriff St Upper junction at the time of the collision.

Witnesses are asked to contact Store Street Garda Station on 01-6668000, The Garda Confidential Telephone Line 1800 666 111 or any Garda Station.
