Poll: Should the addresses of sex offenders be published?

We want to know what you think.

AS MANY AS 18 sex offenders are living close to a cluster of schools in Cork city, the Irish Examiner reports.

Although they are being monitored by gardaí, schools don’t have the right to know if there are sex offenders living in the area.

This is in contrast to systems in place in the United Kingdom and in the United States.

There are almost 1,500 listed as sex offenders in Ireland.

We want to know what you think: Should the addresses of sex offenders be published?

Poll Results:

Yes (6663)
No (2718)
I don't know (828)
