SHIA LABEOUF HAS slapped a man in the face as part of his Elevate project at Oxford University.

The actor spent 24 hours in a lift at the university’s student union over the weekend.

Students who entered the elevator were allowed to ask LaBeouf about anything.

One had a bit of an odd request – he wanted the star to punch him in the face.

In a video of the incident the student can be heard saying:

I’m a performance artist. Can you help me with the completion of my next piece by punching me in the face?

“Oh man, you want me to punch you in the face?,” LaBeouf replied.

“Please,” the student added.

When LaBeouf told him: “I don’t want to punch you very hard”, the student goads him: “Do it, don’t be a p***y… Alright a slap then at least.”

LaBeouf obliges.
