Three teenagers hospitalised following shooting in north Dublin

THREE TEENAGERS HAVE been hospitalised after a shooting incident in north Dublin.

The incident occurred at Shangan Green, between Ballymun and Santry in the north of the city just before 8pm.

It’s believed that the injuries to the three males involved were caused by shotgun pellets.

They were subsequently removed by ambulance to the Mater Misericordiae University Hospital and the Children’s University Hospital Temple Street with injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening.

The scene has been preserved pending a Garda forensic and technical examination. No arrests have yet been made.

Gardaí have appealed for witnesses to the incident to come forward, and have asked that anyone with information contact them at Ballymun Garda Station on 01 6664400, on the Garda Confidential Telephone Line 1800 666111, or at any Garda Station
