Teenager due in court over shooting at Drogheda estate

A 35-year-old man was shot and injured in the attack on Sunday night.

A 19-YEAR-OLD is due before court in Drogheda this afternoon in connection with a shooting in Drogheda at the weekend.

A 35-year-old man was injured in the attack, which happened in the Moneymore Estate at around 6pm on Sunday night.

He was treated for gunshot wound injuries, described as “non-life-threatening” at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital.

The teenager is due to appear before Drogheda District Court later this afternoon.
