TWO MEN HAVE been hospitalised following a shooting incident in Swords, north Dublin earlier today.

The incident happened at 11.30am at Killeek Lane, St. Margaret’s, which is about 6 km from Dublin Airport.

Two men were sitting in a parked vehicle at an industrial premises when they were approached by a lone gunman who fired a number of shots into the vehicle.

The gunman then fled the scene in vehicle driven by another male.

Gardaí are understood to be satisfied there is no link between this incident and the murder of Keane Mulready-Woods.

Gardaí have said that two men have since been arrested and are being held under Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act 1939.
