Shots were fired at a house in Louth this evening

There are no reports of any injuries.

AN INVESTIGATION HAS been launched after a number of shots were fired at a house in Louth.

Gardaí were called to the scene in Knockbridge Village at around 7.30pm this evening.

It is believed that no one was in the house at the time, a garda spokesperson said, and there are no reports of any injuries.

The scene has been preserved for a technical examination. No arrests have yet been made.
