Man charged over online threats made against Taoiseach Simon Harris

The man in his 40s will appear before Galway District Court this afternoon.

A MAN IN his 40s has been charged by gardaí as part of an investigation into online threats made against Taoiseach Simon Harris. 

It is understood the threat was issued via a social media platform

The man was arrested by gardaí in the northwest region yesterday and he is due to appear before Galway District Court today at 3pm.
