90-year-old pedestrian killed in single car collision on small Kerry by-road

The incident at 8.40pm last night at Spunkane, Waterville.

A PEDESTRIAN HAS died in a single car collision in Kerry.

Investigating gardaí say the 90-year-old woman was pronounced dead at the scene, a small by-road, last night.

The 22-year-old driver of the car was uninjured.

The incident occurred last night at 8.40pm at Spunkane, Waterville.

The road has since re-opened following a forensic examination.

Gardai are appealing for witnesses to contact Cahirciveen Garda Station on 066 9473600, the Garda Confidential Telephone Line 1800 666 111, or any Garda Station.
