The main N2 road is closed at Slane bridge after a car and bus crash

The road is blocked in both directions.

THE MAIN DUBLIN to Monaghan road is closed near Slane following a crash between a bus and a car at Fennor.

The main N2 road is closed in both directions and diversions are in place.

Gardaí and emergency services are at the scene and at present there are no details about injuries.

Gardaí have said however that nobody is thought to have suffered life threatening injuries.
