Man dies after stabbing in north Dublin

The man, who is said to be in his late 20s, was found lying injured on St Donagh’s Road in Donaghmede shortly after 7am this morning.

A MAN HAS died after being stabbed in north Dublin overnight.

The man, who is said to be in his late 20s, was found lying injured on St Donagh’s Road in Donaghmede shortly after 7am this morning.

He was taken to Beaumont Hospital where he was pronounced dead a short time later.

Gardaí are attempting to establish identity of the victim and a post mortem will be carried out later today.

A Garda Technical Bureau team is expected to arrive at the scene later this morning.

Gardaí have appealed to any persons who may have been in the area of St. Donagh’s Road and may have witnessed an incident to contact them at Coolock Garda station on 01 666 4200, the Garda Confidential Telephone Line 1800 666 111 or any Garda station.
