Man and woman injured in early-morning stabbing

A man in his 30s was arrested at the scene.

A MAN IN his 30s has been arrested after a stabbing incident in Co Donegal early this morning.

A man in his 20s was stabbed a number of times in an altercation on Ramelton Road in Letterkenny at 4am.

A woman who intervened also received an injury to her arm.

The man was arrested at the scene and is currently being detained at Letterkenny Garda Station. The injured man and woman were taken to Letterkenny Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
