Stand-off at house in Meath comes to a close

The incident has been unfolding in Co Meath since 5.30pm this evening.

A STAND-OFF at a house in Meath has come to a close.

This situation took place earlier today from around 5.30pm this afternoon on Gormanston Road in Stamullen, Co Meath.

There were concerns for the welfare of a man at the scene.

The situation came to a close at around 10.15pm.

A number of gardaí vehicles had been in attendance.

It was reported locally that armed officers were also present.
