WITH A BRIGHT red front door, decorative fascia and clad in Boston ivy, Stoneview House looks as if it has come straight from an old fairytale.
In reality, the property dates back to the 1830s and is believed to have been the house of a former steward at Blarney Castle.

The steward who lived there is said to have been responsible for planting trees on the castle’s estate, which allowed him to bring back seeds of the same variety to plant at Stoneview House.
