Dublin City Council want to hear your suggestions for Temple Bar...

It was recently named as one of the world’s ‘most disappointing’ tourist destinations.

DUBLIN CITY COUNCIL is looking to develop a new vision for Temple Bar and is inviting anyone with an interest to share their ideas.

Whether you live, work or play in Temple Bar we want to hear what you have to say.

Brendan Kenny is  CEO of Temple Bar Cultural Trust and Assistant City Manager with Dublin City Council, he said:

Dublin City Council is inviting everyone with an interest in the Temple Bar area to share their best thinking towards a new vision for this area.

A consultation  process is being held in Dublin next week and people can also get involved by submitting ideas online.

Kenny also added that people should book a place for “what we hope will be a stimulating discussion next Tuesday in City Hall”.

Have your say

There will be a round-table discussion entitled ‘Imagine in the Round’ next Tuesday 20 May in City Hall at 4pm.

To book a place for this round-table discussion email imaginetemplebar@dublincity.ie

Admission is free but booking is essential.

You can also share your thoughts online here until 30 May.

A report of the consultation findings will be available in July.
