Man to face court after worker threatened and money stolen at Rathmines supermarket

The man made off with money on foot.

A MAN IN his 20s who was arrested on Saturday in connection with a robbery in a Rathmines supermarket is to face court today.

The man was arrested after the robbery on Saturday evening near the Upper Rathmines Road area.

The man approached the male cashier, threatened him, and made off with a sum of money from the scene.

The man made off with the money on foot. Nobody was injured in the incident.

Following the robbery, gardaí carried out searches in the local area and arrested a man in his 20s.

He is due to face Dublin District Court this morning.
