Poll: Do you 'switch off' when you stop work?

Do you leave your work, well, at work? Or does it come home with you?

AS IT BECOMES easier for many people to work remotely, the borderlines between ‘work’ and ‘home’ are becoming more and more blurred.

This is particularly true in the creative industries, where workspaces and deadlines are often fluid – and late nights and weekend working frequently the norm.

In these conditions, it can be difficult to set boundaries between work and leisure time. Resisting the temptation to check emails and respond to queries in your ‘time off’ is something many people struggle with.

So today we’re asking:  Do you draw a line between work and home – or do you find yourself absent-mindedly checking your work emails last thing at night? And if you’ve found a system that works, we want to hear about it in the comments.

Do you ‘switch off’ when you stop work?

Poll Results:

No - I'm always switched on (79)
Yes - but I do check in if there's something important (75)
Yes - when I'm not at work, it's my time (66)
Other (let us know in the comments!) (4)
