Two stabbed after row involving group of men on Swords Main Street

The two young men were attacked shortly before 11pm last night.

GARDAÍ IN SWORDS have issued an appeal for information after two young men were stabbed in the north Dublin suburb last night.

A row between a group of men took place on Main Street in the town.

The two victims, aged 19 and 21, have been taken to Beaumont Hospital for treatment.

“At approximately 22.45pm two men aged 19 and 21 years sustained apparent stab wounds during what was described as an altercation involving a number of men on Main Street Swords,” a Garda statement said.

They were both taken to Beaumont Hospital for treatment to injuries understood to be non life-threatening.

An examination of the scene has been carried out by gardaí.

No arrests have been made as yet and enquiries are ongoing.
