Two men arrested over alleged sexual assault in north Dublin nightclub

AN INVESTIGATION HAS been launched after an alleged sexual assault in a nightclub in north Dublin last weekend.

The incident is alleged to have happened at a well-known club in Swords, just north of Dublin Airport, in the early hours of Saturday, 29 July.

Two men were arrested by gardaí in the club in connection with a serious attack on a young woman.

A Garda spokersperson has confirmed that the two men were subsequently released without charge.

A file will be prepared on the case and delivered to the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP).
