Teenager in stable condition after falling from hotel balcony onto car below

The 18-year-old was attending a function at the hotel in Offaly last night.

A TEENAGER WHO fell from a first floor balcony of a hotel in Offaly is expected to make a full recovery.

The 18-year-old girl fell from the balcony onto a parked car below.

She was in a critical condition after she was rushed to Midland Regional Hospital in Tullamore last night, but her condition has since improved.

The incident occurred at approximately 1.15am last night. The young woman was attending a function at the hotel.

The Health and Safety Authority has launched an investigation into the incident.
