Teenagers charged over burglaries in Mayo

TWO MEN HAVE been arrested and charged by Gardaí in Mayo after a spate of burglaries in the region in recent weeks.

The two men, both aged 19, were arrested in the Knockmore village area of Mayo on Sunday morning and are due in court today.

The two men were arrested under section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act and have been since been charged. They are before Castlebar District Court this morning.

Gardaí have asked that members of the local community be vigilant of suspicious behavior and contact their local Gardaí if necessary.
