Ten metre high tsunami hits Japan after magnitude 8.9 earthquake

BREAKING: A TEN METRE high tsunami has struck the north east of Japan following a massive 8.9 magnitude earthquake, sweeping away cars, trees and even buildings.

The tsunami warning has been extended to the entire east coast of Japan, parts of Russia, the Pacific islands.

A nuclear plant in the north of the country has been shut down. More to come.
