Never read the T&C for any services? This will bring you up to speed

Since most people gloss over terms and agreements, you could probably do with a roundup instead.

SAYING YOU HAVE read the terms and agreements (T&C) of any website is one of the biggest lies we tell when we’re signing up for a new service or app.

It’s understandable really. Practically every terms and conditions section is long, full of legal jargon and even when broken down, there is so much to take in that the average person won’t dedicate any real time towards reading it.

That’s where Terms of Service; Didn’t Read comes in. It picks out the most important parts of every major online service and ranks them based on how fair they are.

It does this by breaking up the rating into two main sections. Services, which covers each site and app individually and topics, which cover a specific term that applies to certain services.

The other feature is each one is given a rating, based on how fair their T&C are and how they treat you and your data. Some sites don’t have a rating since there are a number of factors that are too vague to offer a rating but there’s enough supplementary details to help you out.

If you wish to go a step further, you can download a browser extension which will provide you with the same info whenever you visit one of the sites covered, in case you need a quick overview.
