Texan police investigate injuries after 6-year-old brought gun to school

Early reports suggest the loaded weapon fell out of the young child’s bag.

POLICE IN TEXAS have launched an investigation after three young children were injured, but not shot, when a six-year-old brought a loaded gun to school.

Police said that the gun fell out of the child’s bag and was discharged while the young students were in the school’s cafeteria, KPRC Houston reports.

Early reports suggest the injuries range from power burns to leg wounds.

ABCNews reports that investigators are trying to determine how the child got the gun.
