4.#CANCER: The largest ever study into the relationship between cancer and obesity has confirmed a link between the two. The study published in The Lancet found that there are around 12,000 cases of cancer linked to obesity every year.
5.#FERGUSON: The police department in Ferguson, Missouri has named the police officer who shot and killed an unarmed black teenager, sparking days of rioting and tensions.
