2.#CASTLEKNOCK: A man has appeared in court charged with the killing of 39-year-old Tom O’Gorman. 34-year-old Saverio Bellante appeared in Blanchardstown District Court charged with the killing and was remanded in custody for a week.

3.#DONEGAL: The county council in Donegal is close to collapse today, as councillors have failed to agree a budget for the coming year. Fianna Fáil councillor Liam Blaney told TheJournal.ie that Irish Water was among the reasons he was voting against the budget.

4.#BANK DOCUMENTS: The Chairman of the Public Accounts Committee has said he is “appalled” that the Department of Finance has lost documents related to the bank guarantee. Reacting to TheJournal.ie story from last Friday, John McGuinness said that the letters ‘need to be found’.
