LOCATED A 15-MINUTE walk from Enniskerry village, The Coach House is part of Co Wicklow’s history.
Formerly the stables of Kilgarron House, The Coach House has been converted into a unique five-bed home by its current owners of the past 30 years.
Lord Powerscourt originally built Kilgarron House for his daughter Lady Wingfield on land that then formed part of Powerscourt Estate. Over the years, it was then sold to English author Frederick Forsyth, who lived there until 1980.
The next owners divided Kilgarron into several properties and, in 1985, sold what had been the stables of the main house to the current owners; thus creating The Coach House.
The interior of the property features a quirky countryside charm, with each room having a slightly different feel.
On the ground floor, the open-plan kitchen, dining and living room is the heart of the home. Double height ceilings create a great sense of space, while an exposed stone wall and wood-burning stove create a cosy feel.
You’ll never be stuck for storage space in the kitchen, with extensive cabinets on three sides, plus a centre island.

The Coach House enjoys the peace and quiet of the Wicklow countryside while also being less than a 15-minute drive from the Bray seafront, while the drive to Dublin city via the M50 takes 45 minutes.
