• The occupation of a building in central Dublin said to be owned by NAMA has ended after gardaí intervened. The Unlock NAMA group took over the premises on Great Strand Street earlier today, and used it for public talks and meetings.
• A new poll has shown a slight majority of Irish people would vote in favour of a new EU treaty. More than 70 per cent said a referendum should be held on the so-called ‘fiscal compact’.
• Meanwhile: could the EU actually take final control over all Greece’s economic decisions? Germany seems to think so.
• Minister for Transport Leo Varadkar’s request for a €135,000 salary for an adviser has been labelled “an absolute disgrace” by Sinn Féin.
• Well, it’s one way of getting attention… Three women have been arrested in Davos, Switzerland after going topless for an anti-capitalist protest. There were dramatic scenes as they were arrested.
