Third leaders' debate to be aired tonight

Irish language debate will be broadcast on TG4 twice tonight, as campaigns focus today on energy, political reform, and jobs.

ENDA KENNY, EAMON GILMORE and Micheál Martin are taking part in a debate in Irish this morning, which will be broadcast on TG4 at 7pm and 10.30pm tonight.

Later, Enda Kenny will be announcing Fine Gael’s food policy in Limerick, while the Greens are publishing a policy on political reform and “better leadership” in Dublin.

Sinn Féin is publishing a jobs plan for Dublin and People Before Profit will  announce their energy policy.

Labour will be announcing plans for the retail sector and SMEs in Dublin and Eamon Gilmore will be canvassing with party candidates in Galway, Mayo and Sligo throughout the day.

Micheál Martin will also be canvassing in Galway after the debate this morning, before heading to Longford, Mullingar and Cavan later today.
