Three arrested as cannabis seized in Galway

The cannabis resin has an estimated street value of €170,000.

THREE PEOPLE HAVE been arrested after cannabis worth an estimated €170,000 was seized by Gardaí at a house in Co Galway.

As part of an ongoing investigation, Gardaí say they seized cannabis resin with an estimated street value of €170,000 at a house in Gort, Co Galway yesterday.

Two males in their 40s and a female in her 30s were arrested following the seizure.

They are currently being detained at Gort and Loughrea Garda stations under section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act.
