Three arrested over Armagh murder

A 21-year-old man was fatally stabbed in the Portadown area of Armagh during the early hours of Sunday morning.

THREE MEN HAVE been arrested in connection with the fatal stabbing of a 21-year-old man in the Portadown area of Armagh yesterday morning.

The victim has been named as Marc Williamson, of Richhill, Co Armagh.

The men arrested are aged 24, 26, and 28, and are currently in the custody of the Antrim Serious Crime Suite. Police say the men are are assisting them with their inquiries.

Portadown police are asking anyone who saw anything suspicious in the the Hartfield Avenue area during the early hours of Sunday 14 August to contact them on 0845 600 8000.

Witnesses can also contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111
