Three arrests in Seamus McMahon murder investigation

Seven people have now been arrested in connection with the murder of the 41-year-old in 2010.

TWO MEN AND a woman have been arrested in connection with the murder of Seamus McMahon nearly two years ago.

Two men, aged in their 20s, and a woman in her late teens were arrested in Drogehda, Co Louth this morning, gardaí say.

McMahon, 41, was shot at a house in Bóthar Crionn, Dundalk on 21 March 2010. He later died of his injures at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda.

This morning’s arrests bring to seven the number of people arrested as part of the investigation.

The three are currently being detained under section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act at Drogheda and Dundalk Gardas stations.
