Three to appear in court over Blanchardstown store robberies

One man and two women have been charged over the robberies which were carried out at knifepoint over the past fortnight.

THREE PEOPLE ARE to appear in court this morning charged in connection with a recent spate of robberies at knifepoint in west Dublin.

A man aged 25 and two women aged 34 and 39 will appear before Blanchardstown District Court over the robberies which took place over the past fortnight.

Three shops in the Blanchardstown area were robbed over the course of two weeks.

Gardaí arrested the trio after stopping a car on the Grange Road in Dublin 15 at around 10pm on Monday night as part of a planned operation. All three occupants were arrested and brought to Blanchardstown Garda station.
