Three due in court over €3m cannabis seizure

Gardaí discovered herbal cannabis and cannabis plants at a Kilkenny warehouse on Wednesday.

THREE MEN ARE due in court this morning in the connection with the discovery of cannabis grow houses in Co Kilkenny.

Gardaí carrying out a search at a double warehouse in Kildalton, Piltown on Wednesday evening discovered cannabis plants at various stages of growth and herbal cannabis.

The herbal cannabis and the plants have a combined estimated street value of €3 million.

Three men aged in their 20s were arrested at the scene and held under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996 at Thomastown and Kilkenny Garda Stations.

They are due in court this morning.
