Three due in court over incident at Ennis school

Two women and a man are due to appear at Ennis District Court today in connection with an incident at a school in the town yesterday.

THREE PEOPLE ARE due in court in Clare this morning over an incident at a school in Ennis yesterday.

The two females and one male, all aged in their 20s, will appear at Ennis District Court later today. A fourth person, a juvenile, has been released from garda custody.

The four were arrested yesterday afternoon and questioned in relation to criminal damage to a car and an alleged assault.

Nobody was injured in the incident.

RTÉ reports that one man was threatened with a machete outside the school.
