Three due in court over plan to rob cash-in-transit van

The three men were arrested yesterday following the search of a car in Knocklyon in Dublin.

THREE MEN ARE due to appear in court in Dublin later today charged in connection with a planned robbery of a cash-in-transit van in the capital.

The three men, two in their 20s and one in his 30s, were arrested in Dublin yesterday following the search of a car in Knocklyon which recovered a sawn-off shotgun and a sledgehammer.

The woman in her 20s has been released without charge pending a file which has been sent to the Director of Public Prosecutions.

The three men will appear at a sitting of Dublin District Court this morning.
