Three men arrested in motor fraud investigation

Twenty people have now been arrested in connection with Operation Nascar.

GARDAI FROM THE Organised Crime and Fraud Investigation Units in Cork have arrested three men in connection with fraudulent motor insurance claims.

The units, attached to Anglesea Street Station in Cork, made the arrests along with local detectives in County Cork as part of Operation Nascar.

During this morning’s operation three men, aged between their 20s and 40s, were arrested. They are currently being detained at garda stations in Co Cork under Section 4 and Section 50 of the Criminal Justice Act.

The arrests bring to 20 the number of people arrested as part of the investigation.
