Three men in court over Tullamore drug seizure

The men are charged in relation to a large cannabis cultivation operation that was discovered on Tuesday night.

THREE MEN ARE due in court this morning charged in relation to a large drugs haul in Tullamore  on Tuesday night.

The non-Irish nationals will appear before a sitting of Portlaoise District Court today, Gardaí have advised.

One 30-year-old man and two men in their 20s were arrested after a Garda search at a warehouse at Aughnacarna turned up a large quantity of drugs, including 5,000 cannabis plants with an estimated street value of €1.5 million.
