Three released in Limerick double murder investigation

Breda Waters and Des Kelly were shot dead in early January.

THREE OF THE five people arrested yesterday by gardaí investigating the murders of Breda Waters and Des Kelly in Limerick almost a year ago have been released without charge.

The two women and male juvenile were released without charge and a file will be prepared for the DPP.

Two men remain in custody and are being held at Roxboro and Bruff Garda Stations.

The bodies of Breda Waters and Des Kelly were found in early January at a house in O’Malley Park, Limerick. A post-mortem examination showed that they had each died from a single gunshot wound.
