FORMER REPUBLIC OF Ireland footballer Stephen Hunt is selling his Wexford pub and restaurant for €1.2 million.

Tides Gastro Pub in Rosslare was opened by the soccer star in 2014 but the 264 sq m premises and its contents are now up for sale through agents CBRE and Kehoe & Associates.

A brochure for the property says that it was “extensively refurbished” by its current owners and designed using a “New England/Cape Cod nautical theme”.

The pub is a two-storey property with a catering kitchen, office, store and staff facilities on the first floor.

There’s also a separate courtyard with tables and chairs for patrons to drink and dine outside.

The pub is located in the centre of Rosslare and was previously called Brady’s before it was taken over and transformed by Hunt.

The sale brochure says the pub has enjoyed growth in both food and drink revenues year-on-year since it opened and was also the recipient of a number of awards.

These include being one of the winners of Best Gastropub by the Restaurant Association of Ireland in 2015.

The pub is listed for sale for €1.2 million and is being offered for viewing by appointment by both vendors.
